Just in time for the holidays, Glen Cove Police Officer, Derek M. Valance has written his first children’s book, “Through the Eyes of a Bear”. The Bear’s Path is a heartwarming journey of a bear discovering the world and finding its place in the wild. This bear is curious, this bear is brave, and this bear is ready to explore. Through every twist and turn, the bear follows its path, learning more about itself and the world around it. This story is about courage, about discovery, and about the joys of the journey.
