Congrats to Glen Cove resident Eileen Borer, winner of the Downtown BID’s Holiday Playbook promotion.
During the month of December, the BID brought back the Holiday Playbook as a way to support local businesses. Beginning on Small Business Saturday, downtown shoppers who made purchases at participating businesses got stamps on their playbooks, then entered their completed books in a raffle, competing to win $250.
Borer was presented the check at the BID’s annual meeting on Thursday, Feb. 28. Pictured with Borer is executive director Patricia Holman and board president Alvin Batista.
