Everybody wanted to rule the dance floor as Lovesong lit up the streets filling Glen Cove with music at Friday’s Downtown Sounds concert. Lovesong’s covers of popular hits from the 80’s is surely a performance attendees won’t forget about.
Lovesong is an ’80s New Wave tribute band that offers a unique concert experience featuring electrifying performances of legendary music by Duran Duran, INXS, The Cure, Tears for Fears, Depeche Mode, Erasure, New Order and more.
With a colorful light show, Glen Cove was up and spinning right round to this performance, leaving everyone hungry for more.
The Teen Idol contest set out before the concert with performances by the remaining Teen Idol contestants: Tatiana Andino-Mendez, Stasia Kulpa and Tammy Pattugalan. Friday, July 28 will see the final battle between the two remaining Teen Idol contestants. Attendees are encouraged to listen and vote to help decide who will be 2023’s Teen Idol.
The Downtown Sounds concert series is every Friday night at 7:30 p.m. in Village Square. The final performance of the Teen Idol contest will happen in the same location prior to the concert at 7 p.m. The next Downtown Sounds concert will be July 28 with a performance by Paradigm, a group of elite professional musicians.
