Glen Floors Turns 90
The Glen Cove Downtown BID congratulates Glen Floors on its 90th anniversary. The business was founded in 1932 at a small storefront at 68 Glen St. by Fred Capobianco. Now at 30 Glen Street, the business is run by several of the 17 Capobianco children. Glen Floors was recognized at the Downtown BID’s annual meeting on March 10, and guests enjoyed a cake designed to resemble the storefront.
