Costume contests will take place at approximately 2:30pm. \nThe Glen Cove Downtown BID’s Halloween Parade & Festival \nJoin us for a day of spooky fun at the annual Halloween Parade & Festival in downtown Glen Cove! This family-friendly event invites children\, parents\, and residents to celebrate Halloween with a festive parade\, trick-or-treating\, and exciting activities. \nEvent Highlights: \n\nChildren’s Halloween Parade: Open to all! Dress up in your best Halloween costumes and march through Glen Cove! The parade begins in the Staples parking lot (at Highland and School St.) and will wind through downtown.\nCostume Contest: Open to children ages 12 and under. Prizes will be awarded to the first place second place and most creative in the categories of ages 0-4\, 5-8\, 9-12\, and to the Best Group costume. Contest begins at 2:30 PM. Please register ahead of time by getting FREE Ticket on this page. Quantity should match the number of kids you are registering. Registration will be available day of but might have a waiting period.
