🌲 Eyrie Vineyards: Dundee Hills Pioneers In the mid-1960s, David Lett planted the very first Pinot Noir vines in the Willamette Valley. He called his project “The Eyrie” after the red-tailed hawks that nested above the Dundee Hills vineyard. Nearly sixty years later, Eyrie remains one of Oregon’s most important and beloved estates — still family-run, still farming without chemicals, and still making Pinot Noirs that are graceful, nuanced, and built to age. This tasting offers a rare opportunity to experience five of Eyrie’s single-vineyard bottlings side by side: Sisters, Outcrop, Roland Green, The Eyrie, and Daphne. Each site has its own voice, and together they tell the story of the Dundee Hills through Pinot Noir. Expect delicate aromatics, fine textures, and a quiet power that has made Eyrie a benchmark for Oregon wine. We’re thrilled to welcome Mark Coleman of Polaner Selections to lead the evening. Mark will guide us through the history of the estate, the uniqueness of each vineyard, and why Eyrie’s wines remain touchstones for purity and site expression.
