Join us for the exciting opening of an exhibition celebrating the life and art of American painter F. Edwin Church (1876–1975)! Best known for his distinctive portraits with a touch of Japanese influence, Church’s artistic journey also explored the beauty of impressionist landscapes, the mysteries of undersea scenes, the delicate charm of floral still life, and the tactile form of sculpture.
This exhibition, presented with great pride by the F. Edwin Church Catalogue Raisonné Project, offers a unique window into the world of an artist whose passion even influenced the design of his own Locust Valley home, crafted in 1928 by Harrie T. Lindeberg and partially funded by his print collection. Be among the first to experience a curated selection of Church’s diverse works and gain insight into his fascinating life.
Admission to the exhibition opening is free, but donations are welcome.
