Friday night Downtown Sounds attendees had the best days of their life listening to Arena Rock. People flooded the closed downtown streets and went gaga for the classic rock tribute group.
Arena Rock’s set-list included music from iconic bands who helped define the era in the ’70s and ’80s including Queen, Journey, Styx, Foreigner, Bon Jovi, Van Halen and The Who. A.R.T. performs rock blocks of their greatest hits with undeniable energy and precision that makes for an exciting evening of music for all ages.
The Downtown Sounds event was made complete with a light show, by Lite Force, that illuminated the streets with dancing green lasers.
The Downtown Sounds concert series season concludes Friday, August 25 at 7:30 p.m. in Village Square. The final performance of this season will be by That 70’s Band. The Downtown B.I.D. also would like to thank Naz’s Halal Food for being August 18’s restaurant sponsor.
